In 2011, Jono washed up upon the shores of the United States from his native Australia, after aimlessly traveling the world for a few years. He's been at Stick Figure ever since.
After his father decided to get cable TV in 1996, Jono spend the majority of his early life watching nothing but American television, and decided that someday he would end up in America working on sets and behind screens. For a number of years, his parents (unsuccessfully) discouraged him from watching so much TV, claiming he would need to pick up skills that would parlay into a career. We'll, look what happened?
To appease his parents, he picked up a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media & Communications, as well as a Diploma in Advertising (from some Australian college.)
Jono finds himself involved in almost everything at Stick Figure, so we were all quite surprised when he was able to find the time to host Guinness World Records Facebook Live broadcasts in 2016. If you dig around, you can find him here.
Jono appears to be happiest at 32,000 feet going anywhere, and he's often found alongside Stick Figure DP Casey Regan making our movies and losing receipts (though he swears he's only ever lost one).
